Life and people’s journeys interest me, no matter where a person is at, who they are, what the challenge or how they might feel - I believe that each person is valuable, worthwhile and most importantly that they really matter! Yes I’m passionate about people, helping them to reach their potential. My practice is person-centred and includes utilising evidence-based therapies to suit each individual including solution focused therapy, strengths-based therapy, motivational interviewing and cognitive behaviour therapy. This means I have experience in listening, empowerment, validation and using select tools to help you build a solid foundation to move you toward your identified needs and goals.
I have experience as a social worker, mental health clinician and counsellor. I am an accredited mental health clinician and Medicare provider, trained at the highest possible standard. I have worked in human services for over 25 years.
I’m passionate about life so outside of work you’ll find me walking my dogs, playing the ukulele, enjoying the beach and nature, relaxing and eating chocolate.
